Have N-act lessons in your Oxfordshire school

Section 6.12 of the Governance Handbook, published in October 2020 by the DfE sets out the legal basis behind the control and use of school premises in England. Guidance states that the governing bodies of maintained schools have day to day control over what happens in their school buildings and grounds, both inside and outside school hours, and are responsible for deciding how school premises are used.

We’ll do the lessons, give the feedback arrange the graded exams/ qualifications and provide your school with perks such as:

  • Appearances at open evenings

  • One mental health assembly per term for every 8 pupils signed up to N-act

  • Contributions to school improvement plans

  • Contributions to the skills sections of awards such as D of E and Arts Award

  • A free 2 hour Wellbeing Workshop for an Inset Day of your choice

  • The chance to win a free Arts Day for your school where whole classes are invited to participate in themed workshops involving singing, dance and drama

Each school is different and we value the unique relationship we have with each of our partner schools. That is why we go above and beyond just booking a room and organising lessons. We love our community and truly care about your whole school wellbeing! Of course, we are insured, team members are DBS checked and most are paediatric first aid trained too.

So how does it typically work?

  • Choose a day of the week you’d like us to come in; Mon-Fri

  • We need a room you’re happy for us to be loud(ish!) and active in

  • Lessons last 30mins and happen consecutively, 1:1 or 2:1 depending on what parents choose.

  • Lessons pause during your school lunch time and you can choose our typical hours- anywhere from 8:30am-4pm!

  • We rotate the pupil order so your students avoid missing the same lessons each week

  • Parents book through our site and communicate with us via the ClassDojo app, which avoids extra work for your admins

  • Pupils receive 10 lessons per term at an appropriate grade. Those partaking in the fun graded exams will attend a LAMDA exam outside of school time to demonstrate all they have learned so far- results are received to their homes in the 6 weeks following the exam date- Grades 6, 7 and 8 earn UCAS points!

  • Start using your school perks once we have 4 or more of your students signed up. The more students who sign up, the more perks you get access to

  • Simple!
